Welcome to Belfast Only

The City of Belfast and its citizens are extremely proud of their City and heritage. Belfast city centre is considered one of the best retail locations in the UK, with many high street chains situated in either Castlecourt or Connswater shopping centres. For that customary Irish gift of Tryone Crystal or Belleek pottery these can be found in many craft stores about the city such as 'The Wicker Man'. Over looking the City of Belfast for over 120 years Belfast Castle has been a familiar landmark.

Positioned on a prominent site, 400ft above sea level, it offers the most panoramic views of Belfast Lough and the greater Belfast area. The Cellar Restaurant is open 7 days a week offering a variety of menus. The Cellars of the Castle opened in 1990, and have been transformed to allow visitors to step back in time into a Victorian atmosphere of narrow, paved streets, shop fronts and gas lights. Recently Belfast has seen an explosion of nightclubs and dance venues, the main areas are in and around Botanic and Shaftsbury Square. An up and coming area is Laganside, which will be a competitor of the City's University area.

Boasting excellent airport, rail and road links makes Belfast and the surrounding areas an excellent area of exploration.
